Audit Intern

The Opportunity

As an Audit Intern, you will work in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to financial statement audits and supporting client initiatives. Within our Assurance practice, you'll join a team that provides independent and objective assessments, helping clients maintain transparency and comply with regulatory requirements. As an Intern, you will support teams by performing basic tasks and conducting research, while observing professional work environments. Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and gain exposure to auditing methodologies
• Participate in the review and verification of financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in analyzing and interpreting financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making
• Engage in documenting audit processes and findings to maintain organized and consistent records
• Learn and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) in audit tasks
• Collaborate with team members to monitor and analyze financial trends and assess risk factors
• Contribute to evaluating internal controls and identifying areas for improvement
• Utilize data analysis skills to support the audit process and enhance the quality of financial reporting
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to develop a foundational understanding of audit practices and client interactions

What You Must Have

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
• Client service intern positions are entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application
