As an Associate Consultant at IBM

You will help assist clients in the selection, implementation, and production support of application packaged solutions, such as Workday, to meet client needs. Leveraging a growth mindset, you're ready and willing to deliver business value wherever needed.

In your role, you may be responsible for:

• Assisting clients in selection, implementation, and support of packages.
• Making strategic recommendations and leveraging business knowledge to drive solutions for clients and their management.
• Running or supporting workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews.
• Developing process maps to understand As-Is and To-Be scenarios.
• Using IBM's Design Thinking to help solve client's challenges.
• Translating business solutions into technical requirements.
• Pursuing certifications in Workday.
• Assisting clients in the design, business architect, process development, functional implementation, and support of applications.
• Thriving in an ever-changing, technology-based consulting environment.
• Quickly learning enterprise systems and cloud-based applications.
• Bringing a passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view.
• Demonstrating exceptional quantitative analysis skills and the ability to derive recommendations informed by data and insights.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Preferred Majors

MIS, Business/Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Human Resources.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship, co-op, or project experience with ERP systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle).
• Exposure to AI-driven tools to analyze data or improve workflow efficiency, requirement gathering, testing, workflow efficiency.
• Familiarity with reporting tools or basic SQL.
• Understanding of core business processes (HR, finance, or payroll).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus in an environment with conflicting demands.
