About the job

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on modernizing U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. Anduril applies the expertise, technology and business model of leading 21st century companies to defense, changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Its systems run on Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a real-time, 3D command and control center.

The Test and Evaluation (T&E) team works across Anduril's products and business lines, along with all flight operations and test range management. The team runs full system level development testing, new production acceptance testing, sub-component qualification testing and more, including Road Runner flight testing, Anvil checkouts, tower calibration and surrogate integrations. If it involves test, the team supports it. This internship offers hands-on, real-world experience on products that are fielded.

  • Work with engineering teams to analyze test results, identify performance trends and recommend enhancements or corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers and product managers.
  • Conduct subsystem, ground and flight testing at private and government-owned test ranges.
  • Follow established operating procedures and practices to work safely.
  • Ensure the safe operation and rigorous evaluation of all test efforts.

  • Experience with CAD modeling and PCB design.
  • FAA Part 107 certification.
  • Direct experience developing, testing and deploying mission autonomy systems in a defense or aerospace context.
  • Hands-on experience with simulation environments used for testing autonomous systems.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans.
  • Knowledge of the National Airspace System and UAS operating rules.
