About the job

Truist Corporate Finance Group structures bank debt within Commercial and Corporate Banking (TCCB). The group supports leveraged buyouts, acquisition financing, recapitalizations, and other capital structure transactions involving founder and private equity owned companies.

The Corporate Finance Analyst supports senior teammates in new business development, due diligence, and transaction execution. The role also involves building relationships with key stakeholders across the bank. Responsibilities include due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, research, and presentation development.

Analyst Program Structure

The program begins with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction covering capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems, and financial modeling. After training, Analysts join the Corporate Finance team and support senior banking professionals.

Analysts sharpen their financial analysis skills, learn about TCCB and its clients, and gain experience with the corporate finance playbook and products through on-the-job training. They support both internal and external clients within the group.

The position is typically a two-year role. At the end of that period, Analysts may be asked to stay for one additional year.

Benefits

Regular teammates working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits, though specific eligibility depends on the division. Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401(k) plan. Teammates also receive vacation, sick days, and paid holidays. Depending on the position, the job may also be eligible for a defined benefit pension plan, restricted stock units, or a deferred compensation plan.

Truist is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free Workplace.
