Financial Analyst Intern

This position is an internship that starts in Summer 2027. Starting hourly rate is $28.00 per hour.

The Financial Analyst Development Program (FADP) is a 3-year initiative designed to build a strong foundation for a career in financial analysis. Through curated experiences, the program aims to cultivate future leaders at Target by focusing on three core pillars: strengthening financial acumen, fostering continual learning and career development, and building meaningful connections within the program cohort and the broader FP&A organization. We are currently hiring Finance Interns for a 10-week, project-based program.

During the internship, you will gain a realistic job preview into Finance at Target and insight into the day-to-day role of a Financial Analyst. You will apply your knowledge in a project-based internship focused on technology, property investments, budgeting, sales forecasting, or financial modeling and reporting. Extensive training and robust development will support you along the way to help you grow as a strong FADP Intern. This includes exposure to various areas of our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams through job shadows, mentorship, and senior leader or alumni panels. You will manage a project from start to finish and culminate your summer experience by presenting your results to leadership within your business.

Application and Eligibility Requirements

• Current student working towards an undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Curious, adaptable, and committed to ongoing learning and growth
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (intermediate level of Excel)
