Key Responsibilities

The global Reuters News Internship Program lets you fast-track your journalism career and build skills across a range of subjects and media. Reuters is looking for curious reporters, producers and photojournalists who want to tell stories for a global audience. The company welcomes candidates from all backgrounds who can cover breaking news and tell in-depth stories from new perspectives.

The intern will work with the Finance and Markets team in New York, reporting on financial markets, companies and the global economy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Good working knowledge of writing and reporting in English

The Role

• Paid 12-week internship starting June 21, 2027
• An assigned Senior Editor as mentor
• Formal training and coaching
• Interns are expected to pitch and deliver in-depth stories during their assignment
• Standout participants may be considered for future opportunities at Reuters
