About the Role

We are seeking Summer 2027 interns or co-ops for our Hardware Test and Reliability Team. Autonomous systems combine electronics hardware with real-time AI software, and because they move freely in the real world, development and reliability testing is central to delivering a great product.

As a driven, cross-functional engineering intern, you will help develop and run test plans and testing infrastructure that support rapid design iteration and strong product validation for autonomous flying machines used in many consumer and commercial settings.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Design and implement hardware and software systems to carry out thorough performance and reliability validation across a wide range of use cases.
• Analyze data, calculate statistics, and document results clearly to explain trends and guide design improvements.
• Perform failure analysis to find root causes and help develop process or design mitigations, working with mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.
• Take part in design reviews and provide design for reliability input to reduce risk at every stage of the product development lifecycle.
