ServiceNow Hiring Associate Software Engineer

Job Description

What you will do in this role:

• Build cloud software for businesses on a market leading development cloud platform.
• Work daily with a team of like-minded developers using agile software development methodology.
• Learn new areas and take ownership of features that matter to customers.
• Design features with a core commitment to quality and an eye toward how the products will evolve in future releases.
• Work in a Scrum-based Agile development process that is light on documentation and meetings and heavy on design, coding and debugging.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience leveraging AI or thinking critically about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• 0+ years of professional work experience in software development
• Experience debugging and testing software through a CI lifecycle
• Experience with Java, OOP, and Design Patterns
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres and Oracle
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
• Working knowledge of tools that assist with daily tasks (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools)
• Ability to work out of the Kirkland, WA or Santa Clara, CA office

Additional Information

For positions in this location, the base pay is $106,900 to $155,100, plus equity (when applicable), variable or incentive compensation, and benefits. Base pay is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. Benefits include health plans, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan, and family leave programs.
