Main Responsibilities

• Use reaction and reagent databases to synthesize small molecule targets for drug discovery programs.
• Apply suitable purification and characterization techniques to prepare target compounds and intermediates on project timelines.
• Develop and apply analytical techniques for structural characterization and interpretation, including NMR and LCMS.
• Learn to register compounds in the corporate database.
• Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks according to SOPs and document detailed experimental procedures.
• Use internal databases and tools to understand SAR around project data.
• Work with team members to design and synthesize target compounds that address project challenges.
• Keep learning from literature, meetings, and colleagues to solve chemistry and medicinal chemistry challenges.
• Communicate and interact with staff and team members in a professional and courteous manner.
• Work safely and efficiently in the lab following HSE guidelines and all mandatory company compliance requirements.
