This research specialist role supports in vitro and in vivo work focused on neuroimmunology and neurodegeneration. The co-op will support ongoing research, including experiments that require cell culture, tissue processing and a range of laboratory assays. You will work directly with scientists on defined research projects in Neurology, gaining first-hand exposure to disease mechanisms and the drug discovery process.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments supporting neuroimmunology and neurodegeneration research.
• Perform cell culture, biochemical assays and other cellular and molecular biology techniques.
• Collect, analyze and interpret experimental data, providing insights to the research team.
• Maintain detailed lab records and follow all laboratory safety protocols.
