Co-Op Details

Immerse yourself in a Monday-Friday Co-Op session, that will run from January to June (it is expected students will take this time off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Do

• Support system design integration and requirement management activities.
• Attend and participate in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training.
• Responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the work area.
• Support project management activities.
• Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.
• English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.

Basic Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Computer or Software Engineering.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

• A passion for learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace.
• Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challenges.
• Eager to learn new things, contribute a fresh perspective, and share your knowledge with others.
• Basic understanding of gas turbine engines.
• Knowledge in Python or other coding languages.

PSCV and Engineering Quality ensures flight safety and compliance by validating and certifying products, engineering processes, and services that meet regulatory, engineering, and customer requirements to safeguard our employees, customers, and the flying public.

In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We've introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This position is classified as Hybrid. Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on a regular basis with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
