What You Will Do

• Implement and maintain the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) management system and programs.
• Provide critical EH&S support to the site EH&S generalist, making sure site actions are completed promptly and safely.
• Help develop strategies and policies that drive continuous improvement in EH&S.
• Support site projects and contractor safety programs.
• Learn the site's processes and equipment, identify relevant hazards, and keep associated risks at acceptable levels.

What You Will Learn

• Gain hands-on experience with a range of manufacturing processes, with a focus on Environmental, Health, and Safety connections.
• Learn about management systems that promote EH&S.
• Build skills to implement innovative solutions that improve ergonomics, health, and safety in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related STEM field.
• Actively enrolled in a degree program for the full duration of the co-op session.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with CAD and 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of EH&S regulations and compliance standards.
