Finance Internship Overview

Finance acts as a strategic business partner across the organization, adding value by aligning with the businesses to give insight that improves decision-making. Finance team members at every level support and advise while staying accountable to internal and external customers.

What You Will Do

• Summer interns gain hands-on experience supporting a Strategic Business Unit or Functional Area within the Finance Organization.
• Take on special assignments such as developing financial models, improving processes, and preparing individual and group projects to present to Finance Leadership.
• Through this work, interns learn the financials of Raytheon, how the organization is structured, and how the company meets its commitments to customers.
• Take part in weekly development sessions to build technical and soft skills and grow your network.
• Get exposure to Raytheon products, customers, tools and processes through on-the-job training in areas such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Program/Contract Business Management, or Pricing/Proposal Development.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or Management, and actively enrolled through the end of the internship/co-op session.
• At least 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.

Experience may come from on-the-job work, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience
• Cumulative 3.5 GPA desired
• Experience leading a team project
• Extracurricular involvement in school or community

Security Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Clearance type: DoD Top Secret. An active and existing security clearance is required after day 1.

Role Type

Onsite: Employees in onsite roles work primarily onsite, including all production and maintenance employees.

Candidates may be asked to attend select interview steps in person at one of our office locations, whether the role is onsite, hybrid or remote.

This is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
