Apprentice Launch Pad Technician

About the Team

The Launch team works across every major part of Terran R, from stages and payloads to ground systems, launch, landing, and refurbishment. The Cape is the one place where all of it comes together, offering exposure and responsibility that is hard to find elsewhere in the program. This is where first flights happen and where the scale of the work is unlike anything in modern aerospace.

About the Role

• Supporting the maintenance, organization, and inventory of consumable hardware
• Helping keep fabrication and operations work centers organized and clean
• Supporting facility upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assisting experienced technicians with daily operational tasks
• Supporting material handling and work preparation activities

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights as needed
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Experience operating hand tools safely and effectively

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Previous experience as a technician, mechanic, carpenter, or in a similar hands-on technical role

Successful candidates must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at our government partner location in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
