Production Planning Co-Op

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Production Planning Co-Op based in Warsaw, Indiana. The role gives a college student hands-on experience in manufacturing and supply chain planning while working alongside experienced planners.

The co-op will help the planning team with basic scheduling, data maintenance, reporting, and production follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Help prepare and update weekly production schedules based on set priorities.
• Create and update work orders in the planning system under a production planner's direction.
• Review basic material and inventory data and flag potential shortages to the planning team.
• Maintain planning data, spreadsheets, reports, and scheduling trackers.
• Share production priorities and schedule updates with manufacturing partners.
• Follow up on open work orders and document schedule status.
• Support routine planning metrics, including schedule attainment, inventory status, and work-in-process reporting.
• Check SAP ERP data and work order accuracy.
• Help prepare purchase requisitions or material requests as directed.
• Take part in planning meetings, improvement projects, and assigned training.
• Follow all applicable safety, quality, compliance, and company policies.
