Northrop Grumman is seeking Vehicle Engineers for the Aeronautics Systems Intern Program. The position can be based in one of the following locations: Palmdale, CA, Edwards AFB, CA, Mojave, CA, El Segundo, CA, Redondo Beach, CA, San Diego, CA, Oklahoma City, OK, or Emerado, ND.

Interns join the Vehicle Engineering group, which develops manned and unmanned aircraft platforms for all programs in the Aeronautics Systems Sector. The role offers a dynamic, people-focused environment where you will work with users, customers, and other developers. The summer internship program builds skills across several engineering specialties, which may include:

• Constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Working from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operating related equipment, running tests, and reporting data in the prescribed format.
• Performing calibration and alignment checks, and making adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
• Analyzing, researching, and developing structural engineering analysis packages for metals or composite structural materials, covering structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronics.

Travel is expected at about 10% of the time. Relocation assistance may be available.
