Northrop Grumman is seeking Manufacturing Engineers for the Aeronautics Systems Intern Program. This position is located in Melbourne, FL. The selected candidate will join the Production Engineering & Operations (PE&O) organization and work in a dynamic, people-focused environment where they interact with users, customers and other developers.

The intern will help design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. Other duties include:

• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operate related equipment, conduct tests and report data in the prescribed format.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks, and make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
• Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.

Intern pay is set by graduation date, local labor costs, and whether the role is technical or administrative. Travel is required about 10% of the time, and relocation assistance may be available.
