Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mechanical Engineer intern for the Space sector in Gilbert, AZ. The intern will join the Integration and Test (I&T) team.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will contribute to I&T activities for space vehicle systems and their supporting hardware. Duties may include helping develop test procedures, processes and software, and supporting hardware designs that meet the requirements of the space vehicle under test.

Some work may involve testing space flight hardware. Systems under test are well understood, and test constraints and hazards are identified to keep the hardware safe at all times. Test results are analyzed and evaluated by the operator to confirm that the hardware is healthy and operating as expected.

You will work in a team that is responsible for all I&T activities for the space vehicle being tested.
