Come build community, explore your passions and do your best work at Microsoft. This internship lets you bring your aspirations, talent, potential and excitement for what comes next.

As a Construction Project Management Intern, you will help manage day-to-day site construction for projects such as data center construction, facilities upgrades, offsite and substation construction, and wireless telecommunications systems (towers, poles, equipment shelters). You will help take responsibility for construction priorities, including safety (for example, leading and driving a safety culture), compliance (for example, MS Policy/SOX and OLC/Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption), quality, schedule and cost (for example, financial accountability). You will also create detailed scope of work documentation and troubleshoot issues to avoid delays or escalations.

Interns at Microsoft work on real-world projects with teams around the world while having fun along the way. You will be empowered to build community, explore your passions and achieve your goals, bringing your solutions and ideas to life on cutting-edge technology.

Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

  • Support Internal Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) and other Microsoft key stakeholders by reviewing and sharing updated process flow information, with guidance from a manager and/or project team peers, so new processes are followed and deliver cost savings and better cycle time and efficiency.
  • Follow guidance from others to organize information that helps others make timely, data-based decisions with the local project team and stakeholders.
  • Help organize project data covering cost and key performance indicator (KPI) metrics, invoices, processes and policies, communicate project status to the team, and assist with project reporting.
