Northrop Grumman is seeking aspiring Mechanical/Aerospace Engineers for an internship opportunity in the Mission Systems sector in Baltimore, MD. The qualified candidate will join the BaPS division.

Basic Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria:

• Be a student enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university, and remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
• Major in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related STEM degree.
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) and Program Special Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
• Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities.
• Previous experience or foundational knowledge of aviation, specifically with fixed wing turbine aircraft.
• Good presentation and writing/communication skills.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment.
• Understanding of standard engineering drawing conventions.
• Commitment to a Just and Safe culture with shared accountability and safety forward actions.

Intern Pay Range

Bachelor's: $20.50 to $37.25 per hour

Master's: $29.00 to $45.50 per hour

Intern pay rates are standardized, considering anticipated graduation date, geographic labor cost, and whether the internship is technical or administrative.
