Performs assignments in technical and engineering organizations (for example, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) during vacations and short-term breaks from college while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering (RF Systems) Intern. You will gain hands-on experience with the RF Systems hardware lifecycle (architecture, design, development, test and production) for Space Flight and become familiar with RF payloads and/or components. As part of the Lockheed Martin Space RF Talent Center, you will use standardized processes and tools and work with design engineers to develop and manage RF components that meet customer-driven requirements. The ideal candidate has experience and/or knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) design and/or test.

Basic Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other engineering or technical degree program.
• Basic knowledge of or completed courses in Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering.
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Desired Skills

• Strong interpersonal and team skills
• Experience with computers and network systems
• Familiar with RF modeling tools (CST, HFSS, GRASP)
• Coursework in RF payload systems and architectures
