Service Life Engineer Intern

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for a Summer Intern Service Life Analysis Engineer. In this role, you will perform durability (fatigue) and damage tolerance (fracture) analysis to certify that the airframe structure meets its contractual service life requirements. You will also provide structural analysis and source data to manage the fleet safely and economically across its life cycle, and use crack initiation and crack growth analysis tools for design sizing, drawing review, and analysis reports.

The ideal candidate has experience with or knowledge of Microsoft Office and works well in a collaborative, team-based environment. This position requires US citizenship and a government security clearance, and it is located at a facility that requires special access.
