Fort Worth Hiring Systems Engineer Intern

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for a Summer Intern. In this role, you will work alongside the Centralized Specialty Engineering (CSE) team for the F-35 program. The CSE team includes Affordability Engineering, Export Control & Compliance, and Export Policy Integration & Coordination - Systems Engineering.

The ideal candidate will have experience or knowledge in finance/estimating, aircraft components, and/or export requirements.

Interns complete assignments in technical and engineering organizations (for example, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) during vacations and short breaks from college while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

Desired Skills

• Experience delivering written or oral presentations to leadership and customers
• Ability to quickly learn job-specific tools, programs, and processes
• Ability to take initiative, navigate documentation, explore new tools, and propose ideas
• Familiarity or interest in affordability, export compliance, and aerospace defense
