What We're Doing

The Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies. The team is made up of many small agile teams working together in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Its work includes Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and other leading-edge missile defense technologies.

The Work

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer Intern to join the team.

Please note: Candidates must be US citizens. This position requires a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.

Who We Are

As leader of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin directs a partnership of industry leaders developing and fielding the backbone of America's missile defense. This national team supports the design, development, test, integration and fielding of hardware and software elements that keep the Missile Defense System (MDS) functioning effectively. C2BMC-Global team members interact with key customers at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and collaborate with software and systems engineers, architects and the project engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Document software and user interfaces for contract-deliverable documents
