Internship: Commercial Sales Operations

Labcorp is seeking a Commercial Sales Operations Intern to join the Atlantic Division Commercial Operations Team. This position is primarily remote, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule for candidates located near a Labcorp office.

Work Schedule

Days/Hours: Monday-Friday / 9:00 AM-5:00 PM / 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across the Atlantic Division.
• Support inside and external sales activities and gain exposure to commercial sales operations.
• Support data cleanup and data management projects within Salesforce.
• Support the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance, and Analytics.
• Contribute to divisional sales operations by helping streamline processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance CRM utilization.
• Assist with the creation of dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making for Commercial leadership.
• Gain exposure to sales strategy planning, territory alignment, and incentive modeling.
• Support additional sales operations projects and initiatives as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Working towards a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Additional Job Standards

• Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Power BI and AI tools or applications.
• Comfortable working with data and supporting data-driven projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Interest in healthcare, diagnostics, commercial strategy, or sales operations is a plus.

About the Team

The Atlantic Division Commercial Operations Team is part of Labcorp's broader Diagnostics organization and plays an important role in supporting business performance, customer engagement, and operational excellence.

As a member of the team, the intern will gain exposure to commercial sales operations, inside and external sales activities, Salesforce, data management, reporting, and sales strategy. The intern will also have opportunities to collaborate across functions and support projects that help improve sales processes and business decision-making.

Internship Details

• Duration: 11 weeks, full-time
• Dates of Internship: June 1, 2027-August 13, 2027
• Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
