Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join our team in San Diego, CA.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects.
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology Bachelor's degree program.

Internship Details

• Duration: 11 weeks, full-time.
• Dates: June 1st - August 13th, 2027.
• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

Pay Range: $17.75-22/hr

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
