Intern - Anatomic Pathology

Through our science, data, technology, and laboratory network, we advance diagnostics and accelerate innovation. We are seeking a Lab Intern to join our Cytology/Histology team in San Diego, CA.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects.
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology Bachelor's degree program.

Internship Details

• Duration: 11 weeks, full-time.
• Dates: June 1st - August 13th, 2027.
• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

Pay Range: $17.75-22/hr. All job offers are based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
