Quant AI Summer Associate

The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase works to accelerate the firm's data and analytics journey. Within the CDAO, the Machine Learning Center of Excellence (MLCOE) partners across the firm to shape, create, and deploy machine learning solutions for the most demanding business problems. The group also focuses on data quality, integrity, and security, and uses data to generate insights and guide decisions.

As a Quant AI Summer Associate within the MLCOE, you will join technologists, ML researchers and engineers who are passionate about machine learning at scale. The team explores cutting-edge research and applies the latest machine learning techniques to J.P. Morgan's data assets, working directly with traders, portfolio managers, quants, data scientists and salespeople.

The Summer Associate Internship Program begins in June, depending on your academic calendar. Support includes project work tied to your academic and professional interests, mentorship, and a speaker series with senior leaders. Full-time employment offers may be extended upon successful completion of the program.

Responsibilities

• Research and explore new machine learning methods through independent study, industry conferences, experimentation and knowledge sharing.
• Develop state-of-the-art machine learning models for real-world problems and apply them across different tasks.
• Collaborate with partner teams such as Business, Technology, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Strategy and Business Management to deploy solutions into production.
