Johnson & Johnson's Med Tech Electrophysiology team is recruiting Associate Clinical Account Specialist (ACAS) Interns for the Summer 2027 program, with positions in Cleveland and Toledo (OH), North Dakota, Connecticut, and Richmond (VA).

J&J is a global leader in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders and the #1 medical device company in electrophysiology. The company introduced the CARTO® 3 System in 2009, which changed 3D cardiac mapping by improving the accuracy, speed, and efficiency of cardiac ablation procedures.

The 8-week Summer 2027 ACAS Internship Program is open to rising seniors and mid-level master's students who expect to graduate in May 2028. The program will likely run from June 7, 2027 through the end of July.

Eligible Majors

  • Biology, Biochemistry, and Health Sciences
  • Chemistry (Polymers/Materials Science) and Pharmaceutical Science
  • Computer Science, Informatics, and/or Data Science
  • Engineering (Biomedical, Computer Science, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, General)
  • Kinesiology, Physics, and Cardiac Function & Interventional Technology
  • Technical Design (Industrial Design/Product Design)

Program Projects

Interns will support projects in the following areas:

  • Simulated 3D mapping of cardiac arrhythmias
  • Biophysics of ablation
  • New product introduction and education
  • Therapy advancement
  • Clinical EP lab operations

Expectations

Interns must provide their own transportation to the work location each day. A housing stipend may be offered to students who meet distance eligibility requirements. Interns must follow safety and environmental policies, support department objectives, and maintain behavioral standards in line with company policy.

The ACAS Internship with Biosense Webster offers successful interns the chance to apply for the full-time ACAS program, working hands-on with our technology to help patients with cardiac arrhythmias.

Benefits

Co-ops and interns may be eligible for company benefit programs, such as medical insurance, sick time, and holiday pay, under the terms of the applicable plans. This position is overtime eligible and eligible for a sign-on bonus. Interns are not eligible for severance.
