Manufacturing Engineer Intern Summer 2027

We are hiring for Summer 2027 engineering interns. The internship program at HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, aims to build future engineering talent for the organization while supporting our Engineering groups. Interns build knowledge and skills specific to our industry, and project tasks grow in technical complexity as they demonstrate proficiency. Employment is not guaranteed, but the goal is for interns to be ready for an entry-level engineering position after graduation.

Supporting Job Elements

• Tool design, including Creo 3D modeling and dimensioning drawings
• Testing experiments, including following a measurement plan and FMEA
• Improving assembly cell layouts
• Developing improvements that increase throughput
• Identifying methods to eliminate waste
• Implementing 5S methodology
• Assisting with production assembly and testing

Internship Dates

June 2, 2027 to August 6, 2027

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an engineering college undergraduate program
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Basic proficiency in CAD modeling, preferably PTC Creo
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed and motivated
• Desired majors: Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering Technology

Additional Information

The US base hourly range is $20 to $27, depending on the credits accumulated by the undergraduate student. Your recruiter can share more details about the specific range during the interview process. Only individuals who are authorized to work in the US indefinitely may apply. Future work authorization sponsorship is not available.
