Software Intern, NC

The Opportunity

As a full stack developer, you will deliver a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. Booz Allen is looking for a developer with a strong drive to learn and the skills to build software and systems from concept through to production readiness, on a team that helps create systems that make a difference.

This role involves more than coding. You will use your curiosity to learn new tools and techniques and to spot system improvements. You will help clients overcome their toughest challenges using current architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You will also help ensure the team's solution accounts for the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

This position is located in Fayetteville, NC. Because of the nature of the work performed in this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have

• Experience using version control software such as GitLab or GitHub
• Experience building applications in Java, C++, and/or JavaScript
• Experience solving complex problems on a collaborative, cross-functional team
• Ability to create technical documentation
• Ability to learn skills outside of software development
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering by Summer 2028

Nice If You Have

• Experience working with or in the DoW
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of Model and Simulation technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation

Salary depends on factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). This range is one part of the total compensation package. This posting will close within 90 days of the Posting Date.
