Department Overview

Test Systems Engineering designs, builds and deploys test solutions for our global manufacturing sites. These solutions program, tune and test the company's product portfolio, helping ensure products perform to customer specifications. The team works closely with product development engineering and manufacturing facilities.

Job Description

In this role you will:

• Design, develop and implement test hardware and software for production testing of new products, and evaluate deadlines, goals and project schedules.
• Design and implement solutions that improve test yields, reduce overall test time, increase test capacity, minimize downtime and optimize test and process flows. This includes adopting new processes and technologies, using statistical tools and developing innovations for existing problems.
• Analyze and critique equipment designs and processes against market requirements, manufacturability, cost and technical requirements.
• Identify technical and quality problems, evaluate alternatives and choose the most suitable approach based on specification conformity, reliability, cost effectiveness, testability and reparability.
• Identify the need for, assess and develop technical and process specification standards, and help establish procedures to ensure they are followed.
• Prepare and present technical reports to support decision making, provide technical information and speak at technical programs.
