What You Will Do

• Assist design, systems and project engineers in the department on various projects that may include some of the following:
• Review and evaluate engineering schematics, drawings, parts lists, and requirements specifications.
• Work with computer aided design (CAD) models.
• Work with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) models.
• Extract, process, and analyze product-generated data.
• Work with software simulations to help diagnose or maintain our product systems.
• Review vendor product performance and capability information to help select components used for designs.
• Perform various engineering calculations to assess design capability or operational performance.
• Process and track status of engineering changes or product quality tasks.
• Participate in integrated product development team meetings.
• Document design, analysis and/or test results.
• Plan and manage tasks effectively.
• Prepare and present project or technical information to peers, internal management, and customers.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship or co-op session.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with CAD.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Experience working on a team.
• Familiarity with use of technical requirements and specifications.
• Good communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, drive, and willingness to learn.

Role Type

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
