Work Schedule

Ally designates roles as fully on-site, hybrid, or fully remote. Hybrid roles generally require a certain number of days in the office per week, as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss the specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change based on leader discretion and business need.

The Ally Internship Program guides and mentors students with development opportunities and experiences that support your career interests while driving the business forward. You'll connect with diverse teams and functions across the company, interact with Ally's leadership, and learn from their successes. You'll gain the experience to know what it means to be an Ally!

As part of our Internship Program, you will have an opportunity to:

• Gain hands-on experience and work on project-based assignments
• Attend Orientation, Executive Speaking Series, and learning sessions as an intern cohort
• Participate in the Mentoring Program and Giving Back Events
• Network with your peers, your team, and other Allys you find interesting
• Lead an end-of-assignment presentation

The Details

• Internship Program Timing: May 25th – July 30th, 2027
• 40 hours each week with a mix of in-office and remote working days
• Project-based work
• Market-competitive hourly compensation and a sign-on bonus, as well as financial housing assistance for those who qualify
• Successful interns may have the opportunity to return to Ally in an Early Talent Program, a full-time role, or a second internship, depending on graduation timing.

Areas of Opportunity

• Commercial Credit Risk Analytics & Reporting: This team is responsible for building and maintaining data, reporting, and analytical routines for Ally's ~$23B Commercial Automotive loan portfolio. These routines monitor portfolio performance, support credit risk management strategies, perform credit loss forecasting activities (used for corporate financial planning, reserving, and stress testing), and support day-to-day operations of portfolio management, dealer credit administration, underwriting, and analytics teams.

The Qualifications We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Rising Junior or Senior (during the time of internship) in a full-time undergraduate program.
• Major/Course of Study: Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Demonstrates analytical thinking, collaboration, and learning agility.
• Available for the full duration of the internship program.
• Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future.

• 0+ years of experience
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent

Base Pay Range

An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, scope and responsibilities, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
