Your Team, Your Impact

The Cloud Platform Optics team builds highly integrated component platforms that combine high-speed silicon photonics, transmit and receive amplifiers, and controller ASICs with Marvell DSPs. These components run on highly functional embedded firmware. The team handles design, verification, and validation of these high-speed optical components, performs system-level testing under various operating conditions, and validates hardware, firmware, and control loop performance. Engineers on the team take products through the full lifecycle, from inception to NPI.

What You Can Expect

Marvell is looking for a motivated Electrical Hardware Engineering Intern to join the team. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of electrical hardware design and development and a keen interest in building platform solutions for the AI market. This role offers a strong learning opportunity in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical hardware for optical modules and other AI platforms.
• Perform hands-on testing and debugging of hardware components using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal analyzers.
• Take part in hardware validation and verification, including debugging and troubleshooting.
• Help develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs.
