What You Will Do

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities discipline is looking for talented Systems Engineers. Our team in Marlborough, MA integrates hardware and software, writes test plans and procedures, debugs and evaluates system functions and interfaces, and verifies system requirements before final sell-off to the customer. We assemble systems, exercise them in the lab or field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work correctly the first time.

You will be expected to collaborate across disciplines and help implement solutions. You will learn how every part of the system fits together while supporting engineering teams in integration and test efforts. You will support program development, engineering testing, integration, flight testing, production, system deployment, and post-deployment support across the product lifecycle.

This is an onsite role in Marlborough, MA. Test event support may require travel, which is not expected to exceed 20%.

Key Responsibilities

• Support engineering work on testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software
• Perform functional analysis of real-world and test data, and run trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded systems
• Support troubleshooting and failure data analysis, including root cause and corrective action processes and use of lab or field test equipment
• Support system integration and test activities, possibly including live fire test events
• Support qualification of our products
• Support sustainment and depot returns and repairs
• Maintain engineering specifications (DS, ARD, etc.) and drawings (schematics and assembly drawings)
• Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations using analysis tools such as MATLAB
• Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders
• Maintain engineering databases
• Take part in periodic team meetings, interface teleconferences, and working group meetings
