Quality Engineering Intern in Windsor Locks, CT

What You Will Do

Join the Civil Space department in Windsor Locks, CT as a Quality Engineering Intern. You will help develop and maintain high-quality engineering processes and products, gain hands-on experience, and work with professionals in a fast-paced setting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting defect reduction through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Working with Quality Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers on manufacturing and inspection activities.
• Implementing process improvements using continuous improvement tools and methods.
• Applying engineering principles to quality assurance activities.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Actively enrolled in a Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering degree or a related field for the full duration of the internship.
• Experience with inspection tooling and quality assurance processes.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

Experience may be gained through on-the-job work, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
