Production Admin Intern

About the Role & Program

Join us for the opportunity to intern with the team responsible for overseeing the production of content geared towards kids, teens and families for Disney+ and Disney Channel linear networks. We encourage teamwork, learning and development while striving to keep our creative output top in class. This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Glendale, CA area from January 2027 to June 2027. If selected for this opportunity, you will report to the Director of Production.

What You Will Do

As a Production Admin Intern, you will learn about production from start to finish and gain exposure to the creative side through meetings. You will participate in pre-production, project setup, soft prep, physical production, and post-production activities, as well as assist with internal meetings, trackers, and weekly update emails.

Some responsibilities that you will help with include:

• Updating and maintaining tracking grids and weekly reports
• Assisting with meeting agendas and note-taking in team and project meetings
• Assisting with basic admin duties i.e. answering phones, scheduling meetings and crew events

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Curiosity in television production and postproduction
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Inquisitive mind that wants to learn with a positive attitude
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Previous education or experience in a related field (TV, film, postproduction, animation)
• Prior administrative experience
• Experience working in Airtable

Education

• Junior or Senior year preferred
• Major or previous coursework in Film, Production, Cinematic Arts, English or related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• The approximate dates of this internship are January 2027 – June 2027
• Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
• Able to provide own housing & transportation for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area

The pay rate for this role in California is $23 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
