Part-Time Student Facilities & Maintenance Engineer

Position Overview

As a Part-Time Student Facilities and Maintenance Engineer, you will support the facilities and maintenance team in Waterloo, Iowa. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited university program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of facility maintenance projects.
• Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and resolving facility-related issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for facility operations.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians on various maintenance tasks.
• Document maintenance procedures and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering field.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited university.
• Ability to work part-time (up to 20 hours per week) during the academic year.
• Strong academic performance (minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred).
• Basic understanding of facility systems and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
