Part-Time Manufacturing Engineering Student

Position Overview

As a Part-Time Student in Manufacturing Engineering at John Deere, you will support the Fargo, ND facility in various manufacturing engineering tasks. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited university.

What You Will Do

• Assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in production areas.
• Collaborate with engineers to analyze and solve manufacturing issues.
• Participate in projects related to lean manufacturing and process optimization.
• Document processes and maintain engineering records.

What Skills You Need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering field.
• Strong academic record.
• Ability to work part-time (typically 15-20 hours per week) during the academic year.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
