Palantir is offering a Year at Palantir internship for Forward Deployed Software Engineer and Software Engineer roles within the Commercial team. This is a unique opportunity to work on real-world problems and contribute to impactful technology.

Core Responsibilities

Forward Deployed Software Engineer

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE), you will be embedded directly with customers to tackle their most pressing challenges. You will work at the intersection of world-changing problems and impactful technology, using your technical expertise and creativity to drive real-world impact. You will experience the autonomy of a startup with the resources and mentorship of an established tech company, working in small, agile teams and owning end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.

Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute high-quality code to Palantir Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo, building features used by research scientists, aerospace engineers, and intelligence analysts. You will join small product development teams, focusing on specific aspects of a product, and collaborate across teams to share context and skills.

• This opportunity is open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors in college.

What We Require

• Pursuing or received a degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
• Hands-on experience applying AI (through coursework, personal projects, internships, or relevant extracurricular activities).
