About the Internship

Northrop Grumman is seeking a cybersecurity software engineering student for an internship at its Defense Systems Sector in Clearfield, UT. The selected candidate will join the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD).

Interns will learn new skills, explore the enterprise, network with experts and build a resume that opens doors. The internship includes training, professional development and networking opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assess weapon system components and networks to find where they deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
• Establish strict program control processes to manage risk and support certification and accreditation of systems, including process support, analysis, security certification testing, security documentation, investigations, software and hardware research and release, emerging technology research, and periodic audits.
• Provide analysis, design, development, implementation, and security assessments that comply with NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DoD RMF Knowledge Service guidance.
