Systems Engineer Intern in Huntsville, AL

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is looking for an energetic Systems Engineering Intern who is pursuing a degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or a related field. The selected candidate will learn and work alongside System and Software Engineers supporting the C2BMC program for the Missile Defense Agency.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning, conducting and coordinating systems engineering activities
• Developing systems engineering products with experienced engineering staff, mainly system requirements, system use cases and systems architecture

This position requires U.S. citizenship and a government security clearance. It is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills

• A desire to work in a team environment
• Exposure to requirements definition, system modeling, interface design and use cases
• Prior experience performing systems engineering for DoD information systems
• Formal systems engineering education
