Standard Job Description

Lockheed Martin's Missile and Fire Control team is hiring engineering interns to support the Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOF GLSS) program, which supports U.S. service members deployed around the world. The goal is to equip the SOF community quickly and properly with the best possible systems and equipment. Work includes modifications to helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, ground assault vehicles and underwater vehicles that support SOF operators.

As an engineering intern, you may work across functions such as design, systems and test, or aero sciences. You will gain hands-on experience while directly contributing to the safety and security of the nation.

Summer internships are full-time positions (40 hours per week) covering basic engineering tasks in design, analysis, test, integration, and systems engineering. Interns may also be offered a part-time position for the following school year.

Pay Information

Full-time salary range: $18.31 to $25.59 per hour. Lockheed Martin considers scope of the role, work experience, education and training, key skills, market and business factors when making an offer, so the listed range is a general guideline.
