Supply Chain Analyst Intern

Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Business Area is looking for a Summer 2027 Supply Chain Analyst (Value Engineering) Intern in Stratford, Connecticut. In this role you will help improve affordability across the supply base while keeping quality and performance intact. Responsibilities include assisting with analysis of supplier pricing, procurement data, and cost drivers, and working with supply chain professionals and cross-functional teams to evaluate sourcing alternatives and find cost-saving opportunities.

Assignments take place during college vacations and short academic breaks and require enrollment in an accredited degree program.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or Industrial Engineering at an accredited college or university.
• Basic knowledge of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management concepts, shown through coursework or academic projects.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and organizing data to support cost comparisons.

Desired Skills

• Coursework or academic project experience in cost analysis, budgeting, or accounting concepts.
• Familiarity with basic data analysis, including calculating averages and percentages and spotting trends.
• Experience creating charts, tables, or visual summaries of numerical data for coursework or academic projects.
