Electrical Engineer Intern

You will be an Electrical Engineer Intern on the hardware engineering team at MFC. MFC designs, develops, and manufactures precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This role suits a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants to build hands-on electrical engineering skills in a collaborative, mission-driven setting.

What You Will Be Doing

The Electrical Engineer Intern will support the design, development, integration, and testing of electrical hardware across several defense programs. Responsibilities may include:

• Helping production and development teams resolve technical challenges, incorporate engineering changes, update drawings and assembly parts lists, and develop new designs or tools
• Supporting circuit card assembly (CCA) design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and design documentation
• Running circuit simulation and analysis with tools such as LTspice, PSpice, Simulink, NI Multisim, or MATLAB
• Using test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers) for hardware bring-up and troubleshooting
• Supporting hardware operations and assisting engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams
• Working with cross-functional teams on design integration and interface resolution
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including test procedures, design reports, and engineering change records
