Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a full-time Summer 2027 Intern. You will be assigned to a scrum team within the development organization and will support work such as:

• Planning, conducting, and coordinating agile software development activities.
• Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to critical mission problems.
• Applying the right standards, processes, procedures, and tools across the development life cycle.
• Using knowledge of computer hardware and software, mission application subject matter, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
• Correcting program errors, documenting program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

The successful candidate will have experience with Java development, COTS/FOSS integration, and the ability to work across multiple operating systems, including Linux and Windows.

Desired Skills

• Experience with COTS/FOSS integration and support.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work across operating system environments such as Linux and Windows.
• Agile development experience and related tools and processes.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure.
• Interest or experience with development tools and technologies such as Angular, Oracle, Docker, SQL, Git, DevSecOps, and automated testing.
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies.
