Denver Hiring Energy Consulting Summer Intern

Leidos, a Fortune 500 company, is hiring Summer Interns for its Energy and Infrastructure Consulting (E&IC) Division. The division applies technical, commercial, market, and environmental expertise to support the development and financing of capital-intensive energy assets and industrial projects. Its work covers conventional power generation, renewables such as onshore and offshore wind, solar, geothermal, and hydro, biofuels, power transmission, energy storage, carbon capture and sequestration, and hydrogen.

The Summer Intern will get broad exposure to site characterization and selection, contracts and equipment supply agreements, civil and structural analyses, technology reviews, electrical and control systems, construction cost and schedule, operation and maintenance costs, and environmental permitting and compliance.

The Summer Intern is expected to:

• Review and analyze data and information;
• Perform engineering and scientific calculations and analyses;
• Apply engineering and scientific principles to solve problems;
• Support reviews of contracts, agreements, and permits;
• Gain exposure to modeling and software applications; and
• Assist in report preparation and documentation.
