Intern - Anatomic Pathology (San Diego)

Labcorp is a global leader in laboratory services, delivering the insights and answers that help healthcare providers, patients, researchers, pharmaceutical companies, and health systems make confident decisions and improve outcomes. We are seeking a Lab Intern to join our Cytology/Histology team in San Diego, CA.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (40 hours per week)

Job Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects.
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology Bachelor's degree program.
