Internship Details

Internship Dates: January 5 to April 23, 2027

Location: Mirabel Aerospace Engine Center – 11155 Julien-Audette, Mirabel, QC, J7N 0G6

Flexible Schedule: Day schedule, On-site presence required 5 days a week.

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

• Support Mirabel Engine Centre Quality Clinic Team:
• Assist in Quality governance and project activities in the clinic and Assembly floor.
• Analyze and implement internal process improvements.
• Root Cause Corrective Actions Investigations.
• Participate in various on-site transformation projects and initiatives.
• Participate in tactical quality clinics in collaboration with the multi-skilled assemblers and different Engine Centre support groups.
• Automate processes using Excel Macros/Power BI.
• Other tasks as required.
• Learning opportunities within department:
• Engine and parts inspection process.
• Auditing and developing enhanced skills in problem solving.
• Project management (PMP).

What Do You Need to Be Successful?

• Be eligible to work in Canada.
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
• Pursuing a degree in engineering or technology.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
• Organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks and projects.
• Knowledge of problem-solving processes (e.g. DIVE).
• Excellent communications skills in French and English.
• Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated aptitude for teamwork.
• Technical knowledge of aeronautical parts and engine manufacturing.
• Familiar with SAP, Power BI, and Macro in Excel.
• Project management skills.

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
